Calcination improves the temperature resistance and insulation performance of the mica, and make the electrical insulation performance more stable..Single side calcined muscovite tape uses high-quality calcined muscovite paper as the base material and uses glass fiber fabric as the reinforcement material, with good fire-resistant insulation performance and strong tensile strength. It is suitable for fire-resistant insulation layer in fire-resistant cables and can maintain insulation capability under flames for a certain period of time.With fire-resistant temperature up to 950℃-1000℃, The muscovite is treated by high temperature to remove the crystal water and all non-mica impurities which may damage the voltage resistance and temperature resistance.
