Mica is a mined mineral. YT MICA is committed to sourcing mica and related raw materials through supply chains that are lawful, transparent and respectful of the communities and environments from which those materials come.
This policy applies to all suppliers of mica and mineral raw materials to YT MICA and its subsidiaries, and to our own procurement and production activities.
We require suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where they operate, including those governing mining, labour, environment and trade.
We do not accept the use of child labour, forced labour or any form of coerced work anywhere in our supply chain, and we expect suppliers to enforce the same standard among their own suppliers.
Mineral extraction and processing carry real risk. We expect suppliers to maintain working conditions that protect the health and safety of their workers.
We expect suppliers to manage the environmental impact of their operations, including land rehabilitation, water use and dust control.
Where requested, suppliers are expected to disclose the origin of mica and mineral raw materials supplied to YT MICA, and to cooperate with due diligence review.
Concerns raised about our supply chain are investigated and addressed. We review and update this policy as expectations and regulatory requirements develop.
