LSZH Flame-Retardant Tape
A halogen-free, low-smoke flame-retardant tape made from glass cloth impregnated with a suitable flame-retardant compound and dried. It is supplied in tape form at a nominal thickness of 0.2 ± 0.02 mm.
When it meets a flame the compound breaks down into metal compounds and water of crystallisation, which absorb and settle smoke while taking up heat. It is specified for halogen-free, low-smoke, fire-resistant and marine cables.
