Flexible Mica Sheet Series
Flexible mica sheet, also called soft mica sheet, is built on mica paper bonded with a high-temperature resistant silicone resin, then baked and pressed at high temperature.
Its defining property is flexibility: it wraps and covers irregular surfaces while keeping excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance.
Applications
Typical uses
- Insulation and protection wrapped around heating rods, heating wires and other shaped elements.
- Insulation of irregular structures that need bending and covering.
- Grades are supplied as sheet or roll and can be cut to width on request.
- Also used as a soft barrier between metal parts at elevated temperature.

What this grade gives you
- Outstanding flexibility: wraps around heating rods, heating wires and shaped elements as required.
- Heat resistance: continuous service at 500–600 °C, intermittent up to 700–800 °C.
- Electrical insulation: dielectric strength ≥14 kV/mm with stable arc resistance.
- Flammability: rated UL94 V-0.
