3D mica parts are moulded from high-quality mica paper by hot pressing in a tool, forming a three-dimensional insulating component instead of a flat sheet.
The part follows the geometry of the battery pack — curved, folded or fully bespoke — and bonds directly to cells, modules and pack surfaces for thermal runaway protection.
