In April 2026, Beijing Yitian Mica Technology Co., Ltd. (YT MICA) was granted an invention patent by the China National Intellectual Property Administration for “A mica composition, mica tube and its preparation method and application”. This follows earlier patents such as the waterproof mica sheet for new energy vehicles and further strengthens the company's position in deep-processed mica products.
The patent covers the full technical chain from raw material composition and forming process to downstream application. Based on this achievement, the company has launched a seamless fire-resistant mica tube: the tube body is formed in one integrated process, with no joints or weak points, and maintains structural integrity and stable electrical insulation at high temperature, providing continuous fire-resistant protection for busbars, sensors and cable terminations.
The seamless mica tube mainly serves high-voltage, high-reliability applications such as energy storage systems and rail transit, and further enriches the company's new-energy mica safety product matrix.
To date, YT MICA has obtained more than 60 patents and 36 software copyrights, and participates in 14 industry standards. The company will continue to invest in independent innovation to provide safer and more reliable mica insulation materials for global customers.
